Frequently Asked Questions

  • We do not allow the return of any temperature-sensitive food products once they have left our direct control.
  • Questions about food and packaging returns should be directed to customer service.
  • Non-food and non-temperature controlled products must be sealed in original packaging and will be inspected by the driver upon pickup for safety and quality.

  • Fresh dairy mix has a similar shelf life to that of fresh milk purchased at a grocery store. The product has between 24 – 30 days of shelf life depending on the manufacturer.
  • Fox Valley Farms will typically deliver dairy mix with at least 10-14 days of shelf life, but usually more.
  • Coolers at lower temperatures (36˚Fahrenheit or less) will preserve the freshness of the product.
  • Also, products stored in a cooler with ample airflow will support product longevity.

  • Please contact our Customer Service Department. If we do not have the nutritional information you are looking for, we will contact the product’s manufacturer, or supplier directly.

  • Please take a picture of the item with lot code, expiration date, or other product identifying information and email to [email protected]. Customer Service will contact you regarding appropriate credit.

  • Minimum orders are typically $300.00. However, the dollar amount may increase depending on your proximity to our facility.

  • Fox Valley Farms accepts many forms of payment, including:
    • Cash (only in Illinois)
    • Check
    • Credit Card (fees may be assessed)
    • ACH – We will initiate a direct withdrawal from your bank account.
    • EFT – Electronic payment to Fox Valley Farms.
  • Please note:  We do not accept Apple Pay, Quick Pay, Venmo, etc.

  • Each region is assigned specific delivery dates. Once your account is established, your delivery date will be determined.

  • You can place an order with our Customer Service Team by telephone, or online via the Fox Valley Farms web portal.
  • All orders must be placed by 3:00 pm (CT) the business day prior to delivery.   
  • If your delivery day is Monday, you are required to place your order by 3 pm (CT) the previous Friday.

  • We understand that sometimes you forget to order, or don’t order enough. Fox Valley Farms is open for will call Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM (CT) and 4:00 PM (CT). Please call ahead so we can prepare your order before you arrive.

  • Our Customer Service team can also begin the onboarding process with a few simple questions.

  • No. However, if you do not have a business with a sales tax exemption number, you will be charged sales tax for all items purchased from us.
  • Additionally, the sale would be pick-up only, as delivery is not an option.

  • Fox Valley Farms adjusts dairy mix pricing at the beginning of each month according to market pricing received from our dairies.
  • Similar to gas prices, dairy markets can be volatile depending on a variety of regional, national, and global conditions.
  • Generally, the most impactful ingredient to pricing is butter. The higher the butterfat content in a dairy mix, the greater the volatility in pricing of that mix.
